FAQs
Do I need a GP referral? No – you can book directly. If you have health insurance, please check your policy before booking (policy details).
Which appointment should I book? For pain or a sports injury, book a biomechanical assessment. If you have an ingrown toenail, book a new patient appointment so we can check whether nail surgery is right for you. For nails, corns or hard skin, book a routine appointment.
How long does nail surgery take? Allow about an hour. The toe is numbed with a local anaesthetic, and you’ll need someone to drive you home. We’ll arrange your redressing appointments.
Is Swift suitable for everyone? No. Swift isn’t usually suitable if you have diabetes, poor circulation or an implanted electronic device. We’ll check at your assessment.
